How to Install pgbouncer software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

pgbouncer software package provides lightweight connection pooler for PostgreSQL, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pgbouncer

pgbouncer is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pgbouncer package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pgbouncer *

You will get with pgbouncer package name, version, architecture and description in a table
